  • What are your check in and check out times?
    Check-in is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. We’ll do our best to offer early check-in or late check-out when available—just reach out and we’ll see what we can do.
  • Where is Contained In Nimbin located and how do I access the cottage?
    We’re just 3 km from the heart of Nimbin village, nestled in nature at: 289 Crofton Road, Nimbin NSW 2480. Each cabin has a key lock box beside the front door for easy self check-in. Your unique access code will be sent once your booking is confirmed.
  • How do you support guest comfort and inclusion?
    We welcome every brain, every body, and every way of experiencing the world. To support a calm and informed stay, we’ve created two helpful guides: • Our Accessibility Overview • Our Sensory & Neurodivergent Guest Guide. You can find both documents anytime via the footer at the bottom of this page - just scroll down and click to download. If you have specific needs or preferences, we’re always happy to help—just reach out.
  • Are you pet friendly?
    We love animals—but to protect our local wildlife, pets are not permitted at Contained in Nimbin Accommodation. Of course, certified assistance animals are always welcome in accordance with Australian law. Just let us know ahead of time so we can best support your stay.
  • Is there WiFi?
    Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi for all guests. Login details are provided inside each cottage for easy access.
  • I'm unfamiliar with the area - can you help with suggestions on where to eat or what to do?
    Absolutely! We’re always happy to share local tips on the best places to eat, explore, and unwind. Each cabin has a guest compendium packed with: • Local café and restaurant menus • Maps and scenic drives • Nearby attractions and hidden gems in the surrounding hinterland Prefer a personal recommendation? Just ask—we love helping guests plan their perfect Nimbin escape.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    • Cancellations within 24 hours of your arrival will forfeit payment. • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before arrival are fully refundable, or we’re happy to help you reschedule your stay. • Force majeure: If access to the property is impossible due to events like flood or fire, we’ll offer to reschedule your booking first. If that’s not suitable, we’ll provide a full refund. We understand that plans can change and will always do our best to be flexible where we can.
  • Can I bring a trailer, and do I need a 4WD to access the property?
    Access is easy—no 4WD needed. Our driveway is compacted gravel and suitable for all standard vehicles. There’s also room to park a trailer or small float beside your cabin. If you’re travelling with something larger, just let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
